Apply for Reimbursement

Affected vehicle owners have until February 5, 2025, to submit their reimbursement request.

  • Only in case of damage not due to an external factor, you may be eligible for reimbursement if you have previously paid to have your Front Windshield replaced after the expiration of the original Basic New Car Limited Warranty period but before this notice.
  • You must have paid an out-of-pocket expense for a repair that would have been covered had it occurred during the Enhanced Warranty coverage period. This includes any insurance deductible expense or partial reimbursement for repairs.
  • Expenses are limited to direct repair or replacement costs. Any expense that would not have been claimable under the Basic New Car Limited Warranty is excluded, such as incidental, consequential and indirect damages (e.g. alternative transportation, loss of use, etc.).
  • If you have been previously reimbursed by Subaru Canada Inc. or one of its dealers for coverage of this repair, only the portion that has not been reimbursed yet is eligible for reimbursement.
  • You are not eligible to recover any repair costs previously reimbursed or paid for by any third party, such as insurers, other extended warranty providers, or an authorized Subaru dealer.

The deadline to submit a reimbursement request was February 5, 2025.
